'Phone'tastic

I have lived in Uganda for about 4 months when i was there on an official assignment.I have a friend there with whom i was having a light discussion on how technology can confuse people. Since i come from the software industry, i cant help but get puzzled about the 'gadgets' around me. I was narrating to her how the other day in my office (in Bangalore) when i wanted to reach someone, I lifted the receiver of my phone and started typing the numbers on my computer key board (Can you believe it actually happened!!?!!) I only felt better off after listening to what she had to say. She mentioned that once she wanted to talk to her friend from her work phone.After realising that she had typed in the wrong number, she was actually looking for a 'Backspace' button on the instrument!! If you can beat this, post it. Lets have a laugh:-)
