Hello All- Another great and a very special day. Its the beginning of New year to a whole lot of people in South India. My best wishes to those who celebrate the New year and to those who do not need a reason to celebrate!

My day began with three missed calls on my hand phone when i got up at six in the morning!!! The closest I could get to my folks on this lovely day is to make a call and wish them - Which I did. The Vadaa, Payasam and Mango pachadi is a must in every Tamil home on a new years day. But i settle for the normal routine in Bangalore as i live in a paying guest accommodation.

Watching those special 'New year' programs in Sun TV, Raj TV or Vijay TV at home is part of the celebrations these days! I bet everyone agrees with me.
For those looking for entertainment outside 'home sweet home', there's the 'Chandramukhi' and 'Mumbai Express' which is showing in theatres. There is so much craze for these movies even in Bangalore. The theatres are gonna go full house for the next one week or so. I might catch up with the movie in a day or two. I will give you the review on that immediately:-)

While on this, i have to tell you about something hilarious that happened yesterday - One of my friend was asking someone he knew if he got the tickets.......That tamil guy responded - ethuku? oorukaa?kovilukkaa? My friend (who thinks he is the biggest fan of Rajini!) got annoyed. he said in the famous 'Chennai Tamizh'- enna nakkalaa? Thalaivar padam naalaiku release aaguthu, nee ennadaanaa oorukaa, kovilukkaanu kekare?.....i was laughing for the next ten minutes continuously.

In my opinion, the greatest way to celebrate any occasion, or for that matter, any day is to be with people who love to spend time with you. And being nice to them and to show commitment and confidence in the relationship. So what are you still looking at? Spread the message. Show to your loved ones that you care and celebrate. Have a nice day. Happiness Always.

The title of this article is dedicated to the silicon valley of India that I live in.

Hi,
Its wonderful. Nice to see people in IT think beyond it. By going through this, I find you are very much attached to the roots that you come from. Though, I found it difficult to follow Tamil, it sounded interesting.
Sad, but true, now a days, people glue to the TV sets on holidays and festival days. Interaction among family members and peers is reduced to a mere formality.
Nice to know you. Thanks to my poor memory!!!, otherwise I would have never met you.(in case if you have forgotten, you returned my cell phone which i left in an auto on Ugadi day)

Thank You,
