when I decided to get into the blogsville, I had a good mind to use my connection with the mafia and ask him to give a space in his blog to tell his visitors that I am back. (He he, I still have it, you listening Mr.Sambhar?)

As an extension of that, I started wondering how much blogsites can do in order to promote their own and other sites/products.

Imagine MTR or sakthi sambhar masala Ad pop-up when you land at this site, or an exagerrated situation where a company starts producing Thayirsaadham mix in order to put up their banner Ads at this popular site ;-D.

I can even foresee people selling or buying up a blogsite to ride on the credibility and the hit rates that a blogsite attract(as if these guys would let that happen!).

'Ads by google' is already a familiar box which one would like to ignore in most of the blogsites unless you have a deal with someone like these guys had.

The point is to get your hit rate and reviews going much ahead of other sites. everybody's watching you see.
