I was checking this website www.lastminute.com . I went to this site not because I wanted to shop online, but I have heard so much about this venture – started when the Internet was ‘IN’ and still surviving. The stock price of this company which is listed in the UK is a lot less than what it was during the boom period.

There has been a lot of news recently questioning whether the Internet bubble is about to burst. The current huge drop in the share price of lastminute.com – the flagship web site of young British Internet entrepreneurs – is seen by many as the first sign that Internet mania could have reached its peak and has started to plummet towards oblivion. An Interesting Observation- Well, there is something more in this web-site than the usual ‘BUY THIS’ and ‘BUY THAT’. On the top right side of the web-page, I noticed something like “The boss is watching – look busy”. Clicking on that took me to a page displaying some ‘spreadsheets’ and ‘analysis’. This is obviously made up. Interesting. Now you know how to shop online for your holidays while at work and still escape from your BOSS if he watches you. But don't worry anyways - May be he is doing the same thing!!
